“Deflowered”
Every day she greeted the universe,
for her the universe was he;
He described her as young and beautiful,
sweet yet full of ambition.
Gold silk dress with pearls on her neck,
but she still thinks he is not impressed.
How lovely it is if she would let herself step
out of her body,
she will surely break into a blossom,
but how would she do that if he wouldn’t let her
alone.
She’s good, she’s a woman, a hero of her own,
too bad her face is just worth a penny
A face that could not be compared to any,
too bad she’s just a toy to many.
The divinity that turned her into a sinner,
grief for the death of his father and a
rejection,
from her lover that broke her
She was overwhelmed between two different poles;
South or north, to be a lovely wife or a
deceitful lover
oh Ophelia have you ever think for yourself?
The sadness turned into madness, she allowed herself
to drown in the darkness
A death that seems passive as her gold silk dress spread
wide in the water
Neglecting to save herself from drowning
